I know a lot of people who read this blog live in the South Wales area. This is why I thought you may be able to help my wife out.

She works for Cardiff University doing research into the genetics behind ADHD. The thing is they need people to take part in the study.

If you know any family which has a child with ADHD then can you please refer them to the researches webpage, ADHDCardiff.co.uk Nice and easy to remember. It’s not only for people in South Wales (they’ve travelled as far as Manchester) but visiting South Wales families gets her home in time for tea

As has been mentioned previously I’ve been updating some of teh content on here. Much of that updating is teh addition of content I’ve previously been archiving on theprognosis.org.

Second to make the move (after the eBooks) have been the video interviews with some respectable Men O’ Faith.

They are now up and running in the interviews i’ve conducted tab at the top. There you’ll find interviews (not all conducted by me) with such shinning lights as the New Director of Acts29 Europe, Steve Timmis, leader of influential Cardiff Church Highfields, Peter Baker and others.

This is an area I’m looking to invest in and grow over the coming year so have a look around and enjoy!

Well, it’s amazing how prouctive I am when I have a sermon to write!

The eBooks section I talked about in my last post is now up and functional. Take a look, I hope the books can be of use to you.

You may or may not have heard the news. theproGnosis is coming to an end. Sad on the one hand, necessary on the other.

As a result I’ve been taking stock of the content around here on saintbeagle. A few of the tabs from the top you’ll notice have been removed. Book’s I’ve Read has gone because quite frankly, my opinion on books is worth very little. I’m almost illiterate after all (you may have gathered this by reading what I’ve written). I’ll still review books from time to time, but there wont be an ‘archive’ of those reviews.

Secondly I’ve taken down my ‘Set lists’ tab. It was intended to be a place I could record the songs I’d led in church to help me keep track and plan effectively for future services. I’ve not used this for ages because we now have a very similar facility for our church.

I’ve added two tabs to replaced them though, namely ‘eBooks I’ve Edited‘ and ‘Interviews I’ve Conducted.’

The eBooks page is something I was doing over on theproGnosis.org and so I’ve decided to preserve that here. Likewise the interviews was something I was heavily involved in and didn’t want lost.

So there you have it. A few changes. A bit of a spring clean. Hopefully this will mean a little more blogging here at saintbeagle…who knows?

Well here’s your chance. I stumbled across the, “A Passion for Life” Vimeo page earlier where there are loads of videos giving apologetics-esq responses to common questions.

On the plus side it did make me think about how God’s unchanging-ness should bring us peace rather than anxiety. Read my thoughts here.

I’ve been Reading this book for my course, it’s called ‘What is an Evangelical?’

The cover (below) is of the author, Dr Lloyd Jones. It got me thinking, “Have I ever seen a photo of him with a smile?”
A quick google image search led me to believe that such a photo does not exist.

I got a quick heads up from Pastor JT about it, I think he’d had the heads up from Pipe Cleaner.

The album is I Am Living Vol.1 from Come and Live Music. You can get it from here.

The album is actually a compilation album of 16 different bands that have signed to this Come and Live label. They are extremely diverse (musically) and similar (lyrically and theologically). I dare anyone to listen and not like a least 2 tracks.

I think that the idea is for the bands to then release some free download albums too. Great. (Better than re:sound already)
